Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is an undergraduate degree in the field of pharmacy. This degree is the essential qualification for registration to practice as a pharmacist in India. It focuses on understanding the properties and effects of medicines, as well as developing the skills necessary to counsel patients on their proper use.
Colleges offering pharmaceutical education programs, such as D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Pharm D, must be approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.
ELIGIBILITY :
Successful completion of a 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, and Chemistry, along with Biology and/or Mathematics.

CURRICULUM:
The 4-year B.Pharm curriculum, prescribed by PCI, is divided into 8 semesters. It encompasses lectures, tutorials, practicals, seminars, projects, industrial training, and educational tours, as outlined in the university’s (RUHS) instruction and examination schemes and executive directives. Additionally, the curriculum includes various curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities as specified by the university.
